CARGO
The Cargo is our most popular model, and for good reason. In short, it’s an incredibly versatile cargo bike that can handle heavy loads and big objects with ease. The best part is, it rides like a normal bike when unloaded, due to its lightweight construction and geometry.
“…it rides like a normal bike when unloaded…”
It’s also our model with the longest wheelbase, which calls for stable handling, especially when hauling cargo. The long wheelbase also allows you to load the rack easily on your own, as the load sits in the middle of the front wheel and the kickstand.
The cargo is also our only model which is officially compatible with the Yepp child seat bracket. The position of the front headset also makes it easier to carry a friend on the rack!
The Mini-Max is the middle child of the lot. The main difference compared to the Cargo is the wheelbase. The bike and wheelbase is about 20cm shorter, which has a noticeable effect on handling. The shorter wheelbase makes the bike handle a bit more like a normal bike, resulting in a tighter turn radius and increased manoeuvrability. The front rack is the same rectangle as the Cargo’s rack, just without the horns, while retaining extender bar compatibility.
The fact that the front wheel is positioned more in the middle of the rack means positives on the steering front, however the maximum hauling capabilities are slightly compromised. Hauling a very heavy load becomes a little more tricky, but definitely doable with a bit of skill. Loading the rack while on the kickstand can be difficult as the weight sits over top of the front wheel, as opposed to in the middle of the wheelbase on the cargo.
MINI-MAX
“The shorter wheelbase makes the bike handle a bit more like a normal bike, resulting in a tighter turn radius and increased manoeuvrability.”
MINI
“Ideal for getting around with a load too big for a backpack”
The Mini almost speaks for itself. It’s a normal bike with a front rack on steroids! Ideal for getting around with a load too big for a backpack, and putting it out front where you can keep an eye on it. Significant loads on the mini aren’t and issue as long as they are more or less kept within the racks size. The weight of the load has very little influence on steering, simply because the rack is built into the frame.
